El Paso Emergency Squad is a division of the El Paso Fire Protection District. Providing 911 emergency services to the fire district which includes the communities of El Paso, Kappa, and Panola. This area covers 75 square miles of Woodford, McLean, and Livingston counties in the state of Illinois.
Since 1977
Any patient who is being cared for in a critical care setting (ICU, CCU, ED) or who is being transported to another facility for a higher level of care requires critical care transport.
El Paso staffs an Advanced Level 911 ambulance everyday and most days staffs two Critical Care teams. El Paso is able to cover multiple 911 calls simultaneously. By staffing Advanced Skill Level teams everyday in all units, the community of El Paso receives the best possible care.
5 state of the art ambulances are equipped with the latest equipment such as: Life Pak 15 cardiac monitors, Stryker power cot and power load system, ventilators and video laryngoscopes. El Paso Critical Care is one of the few ambulances in the area providing Heated High Flow Oxygen.
